Same day photo printing in Toronto has become a bit more hard to find with Blacks out of the picture. Though you'll find a few Kodak kiosks in older Loblaws locations, photo printing stores that offer quick turn around are increasingly rare. Luckily, there are a few photo savvy places peppered around the city that'll get the job done right (and quick).
Here's where to go to get your photos printed in Toronto.
Downtown Camera
Dowtown Camera is your one stop shop for photo developing. They can work with both film and digital media images, and print everything from locket-sized images to 24 inch pictures same day. If you can wait the extra 24 hours, they can make posters up to 44 inches. Prices for same day printing range from $0.49-$64.99, depending on size and number of prints.
Toronto Image Works
If you're an early bird, Toronto Image Works can save you the hassle of waiting days (or weeks) for your prints. Submit your images online before 10 a.m., and the lab can turn them around within the day. Prices start at $0.50 per photo for 4x6 matte prints.
Annex Photo
Annex Photo offers both one-hour and same day printing, making photo printing a quick and painless process. Whether you want black and white or colour images, this photo lab has got you covered. For 35mm colour developing, it costs between $6-$7 for one hour printing. If you're looking for same day, they offer several different services ranging from $5-$327.
Northern Artists Pro Lab
This shop near Yonge & St. Clair offers same day digital and film printing, photo enlargement, and passport photo services. The prices range from $0.25-$19.99, depending on number of prints and service. If you have a valid student ID, you can get 10% off.
Pikto
Pikto offers rapid Fuji Lustre printing if you're looking for a quick turn around in print sizes up to 12x18. So, whether you want photos for your albums or decent size enlargements, they'll get the job done. Prices start at $0.35 for 4x6 lustre and glossy prints.
Fotobox
Fotobox offers speedy professional printing services in Etobicoke. The lab will take your digital pictures (no film, sorry) and turn them into glossy prints within the day. Same day services are only available for prints between 4x6 and 12x18, and the cost will depend on size and quantity of order.
Rapid Photo
Rapid Photo stands by their name and will print your images in as quickly as half an hour. The lab offers colour printing, black and white, photo enlargement, passport photos, scanning and a bevy of other speedy services. For the standard 4x6 size, it's $0.49 per photo or $0.30 per photo if you order 50 or more copies.
Great Spirit
This Beaches outpost has options when it comes to photo printing. The store offers same day professional printing, in several sizes and finishes. Or, if you're a fan of photo kiosks, they have a Kodak printer where you can sort out your photos without even talking to a salesperson. Call for pricing.
West Camera
West Camera offers both professional printing services for film and a kiosk where you can print your digital photos yourself. If you opt to go the film route, same day printing will cost $11 for a roll of 24, $14 for a roll of 36.
KIOSKS
A number of stores throughout the city are outfitted with Kodak and Fuji kiosks that will also provide quick turn around photo printing via popular memory cards and storage devices.
