Full English breakfast in Toronto requires a big appetite. These morning meals aren't for the faint of heart - they're big greasy feasts from the other side of the pond that are a welcome addition to Hogtown's thriving brunch scene.
Here's where to go for a Full English breakfast in Toronto.
The Old Laurel
This Brit pub on College Street is the place go for proper fry-ups and Premier League football. The Full Monty ($15) is a feast featuring a pair of eggs, two rashers of bacon, a thick house-made banger, baked beans, grilled mushrooms, roast tomato, a slice of black pudding, bubble & squeak, and a couple slices of toast or fried bread.
The Queen and Beaver
The Full English ($14) at this pub on Elm Street is served on weekends from 10 a.m. To 3 p.m.. The classic breakfast consists of two eggs (any style), bacon, pork and sage sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, and baked beans with fried bread or toast on the side.
The Oxley
Enjoy your humble Brit-style fry up in the luxe surroundings of this Yorkville pub. Owned by the same folks as The Queen & Beaver, the menu description is practically identical to the one listed above.
The Bristol
Enjoy a splendidly British-style breakfast in this handsome dining room on West Queen West. Like Old Laurel (the same chef created the menu), the feast here features two eggs with bacon rashers, sausage, black pudding, sautéed mushrooms, baked beans, grilled tomato, home fries and a choice of toast or fried bread.

This Parkdale kitchen led by chef Marty Mattheson is home to a hearty Full English Breakfast ($16) that sticks to a tried and true formula: each order includes a couple of fried eggs with rashers and sausage accompanied by baked beans, mushrooms, tomato and toast.

This Leslieville public house serves up a traditional English breakfast ($10.99) loaded with fried eggs, bangers, strip bacon, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, and home fries.

This West Queen West pub is home to a full English breakfast ($14) that doesn't disappoint. Here the dish sticks to the essentials including fried eggs, sausage, bacon, tomato, mushroom, beans, chips and toast.

The Fry ($13.95) at this Riverside "gastro house" comes with all the staples: eggs, rashers and sausage, grilled tomato, sauteed woodland mushrooms, and a choice of sourdough or multigrain toast. As if that's not enough to fill you up, it also includes blood pudding, tater tots and cassoulet.

The Full and Proper breakfast ($15) served weekends from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at this Brit-style establishment on the Danforth features a couple free run eggs (scrambled, fried or poached) with English bacon, a banger, molasses baked beans, home fries, and house baked bread.
The Rebel House
The Tavern Breakfast ($14.95) at this midtown local is a smorgasbord of eggs, sausage or bacon, sautéed button mushrooms, roasted tomato, baked beans, toast and kettle cooked fries.
