Thousands expected at ACC this weekend for huge fight night

If you're looking for something to do this weekend in Toronto, you might want to steer clear of the Air Canada Centre this Saturday night, well, unless you have a ticket to the show.

That's because the place is going to fill up with Ultimate Fighting Championship fans gearing up for a big fight night.

This is the first time the UFC has returned to Toronto since 2013, and that was reportedly during a time when the franchise was courting the city. In October, the UFC closed its Toronto office and laid off a number of its Canadian staff, including its president of Canadian operations.

The big ticket match for UFC 206 is between Max Holloway and Anthony Pettis, who'll be fighting for the interim featherweight title. However, Pettis weighed in three pounds over the 145 pound featherweight limit. It's unclear whether he'll be able to fight or weather Holloway will still get to vie for a belt.

There are still tickets available for UFC 206 and competition to get butts in seats might be fierce, considering lots of sports fans will be watching the TFC fight for the MLS Cup tomorrow night.
