10 things to do in Toronto today

Things are getting cozy in Toronto today with the final day of a Roots warehouse sale and warm soup and drinks on at Cafe Diplomatico. You can check out a full day of movies at the newly reopened Paradise Theatre and it's the last day for the Swedish Christmas Fair.

Events you might want to check out:

Paradise Day (December 8 @ Paradise Theatre)
The newly reopened Paradise Theatre is welcoming Toronto in after 13 years with a showcase of iconic films that pay homage to the cinema's namesake.
The Annex x The Citizens Collective (December 8 @ The Annex Hotel)
A curated selection of vendors are setting up shop inside the Annex Hotel for a holiday market that includes gifts, art, home and beauty products.
The Bazaar of the Bizarre (December 8 @ Native Canadian Centre of Toronto)
Weird, unusual, strange, whatever you want to call it, there's lots of unique and speciality gifts that are macabre and whimsical.
Cafe Dip Christmas Open House (December 8 @ Cafe Diplomatico)
It's Christmas at Cafe Dip with a day of festivities, including music, activities, warm soup and drinks, carolling, a visit from Santa and more.
Shantay, You Sleigh! (December 8 @ Gladstone Melody Bar)
You won't find any Christmas cheer at this anti-holiday party, but you will find fab performances, music, dance, spoken word and comedy.
Game of Thrones Experience (December 5-8 @ Scarborough Town Centre)
There's still another day to check out this huge recreation of the GoT universe complete with a castle and the Iron Throne itself.
Roots Warehouse Sale (December 6-8 @ Roots Orfus Road)
The final day of this big warehouse sale is on with tons of cozy Roots stuff like sweats, fleece, outerwear, sleepwear, sneakers and boots.
Swedish Christmas Fair (December 7-8 @ Daniels Spectrum)
The Swedish Christmas Fair is ready to wrap up for another year but not before one final day of food, performances, music and shopping.
Parkdale Flea (December 7-8 @ Northern Contemporary Gallery)
There's lots of gifts up for grabs at the last day of this month's Parkdale Flea with local markers and artists selling all kinds of handmade goodies.
PINK XMAS (December 7-8 @ The 519)
Toronto's huge queer art, literature, craft and fashion fair is on for another day where you can pick up cool goodies from local makers.
