5 free things to do in Toronto this week

Free things to do in Toronto this week mean saving a bit of cash for the important stuff while still having lots a of fun. The ROM and MOCA are both opening their doors for free and Winter Stations is back on the beach. Party it up or pet a pug, it's all happening.

Events you might want to check out:

Winter Stations (February 17 - March 30 @ Woodbine Beach)
This year's Winter Stations are going beyond the senses with larger-than-life interactive installations that include a huge mirror and rainbow noodle.
3rd Tuesday Nights Free (February 18 @ Royal Ontario Museum)
Take a tour through the museum free of charge as the ROM opens its doors for a night of fun throughout the space and with extended hours.
Community Sunday (February 23 @ MOCA Toronto)
The city's newest contemporary art museum is welcoming in visitors to check out the sale and exhibitions free of charge for a whole day this month.
Toronto Pug Grumble (February 23 @ Dog Bowl in Trinity Bellwoods Park)
If the winter blues has you down, spending the afternoon with a bunch of cute dogs might be the answer as the pug meet up returns.
Long Winter (February 21-23 @ Workman Arts)
Some of the city's most innovative DJs and artists are dropping by for this PWYC (suggested donation of $12) monthly dance party.
