Today in Toronto The Beaver will be hosting their very first (and hopefully recurring) Björk Party this month in celebration of her new album, but Buzz Huneedew will also be performing, and you can dance to the hits in your swan dress too. If you're free this afternoon, you can catch two free previews of an all-Canadian cast performing Once at 12:15pm and 1:15pm.
Canadian Art's 12th Annual Reel Artists Film Festival will open at TIFF tonight. This year's theme is risk taking artists in the vein of Ai Weiwei, Marina Abramovic, and Chris Ofili. It's on until Saturday. Greys and Total Love are playing at a temporary bubbly-drink branded underground skateboard on Dufferin, while brand new venue Burdock Music Hall on Bloor will host Michael Feuerstack, and the Queer Songbook Orchestra will perform downtown.
