THIS WEEK
- The Junk Food Festival is on this weekend, Sept. 9 to 11, at the Toronto Star building (1 Yonge St.). Admission is free.
- Now in its 32nd year, the Toronto Veg Food Fest is back at Harbourfront Centre from Sept. 9 to 11. It promises free samples, live music, cooking demos, presentations, new products and lots of meat-free fare.
- Taste of the Kingsway will shut down Bloor Street West from Prince Edward Drive to Montgomery Road this weekend for a street party featuring 200 exhibitors, a midway, a beer garden and live entertainment.
- Cabbagetown Festival 2016 is on this Saturday and Sunday. It's at Parliament and Carlton and you can expect to find local food vendors and live entertainment.
- Destination Thailand is at Yonge-Dundas Square this Saturday. Admission is free.
- The The Gladstone Hotel hosts Harvest Wednesdays Sip and Savour with Bob Blumer on Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $30
UPCOMING
- Tickets are now on sale for Oktoberfest at Steam Whistle Brewing happening on Saturday, Sept. 17.
- The 6th annual Toronto Garlic Festival is on Sunday, Sept. 18 at Artscape Wychwood Barns. Admission is $5 for this event filled with garlicky dishes, craft beer and wine.
- City Cider at the Spadina Museum is on Sunday, Sept. 18 from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the gate.
