- Antler Kitchen & Bar, a new restaurant from chef Michael Hunter focused on foraged ingredients and game meats, opens tomorrow, Friday October 23 at 1454 Dundas Street West.
- Impact Kitchen at 573 King St. East in Corktown is now open.
- Cabbagetown favourite, Absolute Bakery & Cafe has opened a second location at 547 Danforth Ave.
- YaYa Leslieville, a new destination for week-round breakfast and brunch, is now open where the Leslieville Diner used to be at 1186 Queen St. East.
- Fat Bastard Burrito has opened a new location at 254 Adelaide Street West next to Rock 'n' Horse Saloon.

- Montreal Chef Joseph Awad (formerly of Au Pied De Cochon and Sugar Shack) and Danny Hassell (ex-Buca) are teaming up to open Parcae, a cocktail bar and kitchen inside the decidedly secretive, Templar Hotel at 348 Adelaide St. West.
- The Shore Leave is opening November 1 at 1775 Danforth Ave. The new tiki bar from two former Only Cafe bartenders will feature tropical cocktails and selection of Canadian cheeses.
- Green Eggplant has closed its location at 1968 Queen St. East and is sliding down the street to move into the address of the recently shuttered Il Fornello at 2022 Queen St East.
- Signs are up at 633 Bloor St. West for Put A Cone On It, a new ice cream parlour from the same folks behind Manic Coffee.
