- Royale's Luncheonette, a new destination for sandwiches and baked goods is now open at 1418 Dundas St. West.
- Return to Oss is now open having taken over the former address of Fishbar at 217 Ossington. Expect to find an eclectic menu offerings apps like chicken liver parfait and entrees including surf and turf, chicken piquant and fish pie.
- Cafe Neon is opening a second location at 1024 Queen St. West near Ossington. Expect the new spot to be in business this week or next.

- Mercat del Carmen, a new Spanish food market from the owners of Carmen, is opening mid to late November at 920 Queen St. West next to the tapas restaurant.
- The Baro, a new spot for chopped salads, is coming soon to 424 Queen St. West.
- Page One Cafe is in the works at 106 Mutual St. Look forward to coffee, sandwiches and salads once open.
- Upscale Thai restaurant Pattaya is opening at 2326 Queen St. East in The Beach(es).
- Taking over the address of the short-lived Oh! Original Hot Dogs is, wait for it, Burger's Priest.
