The 10 worst lineups you'll face in Toronto this summer

lineups torontoLineups in Toronto are getting more and more outrageous, especially when the temperatures begin to rise. From ice cream purveyors to popular bars, I've narrowed it down to the worst of the worst queues.

Here are my picks for the worst lineups you can expect in Toronto this summer.

Bang Bang Ice Cream and Bakery
Even on chilly days this Ossington ice cream shop boasts a pretty hefty line. People are eagerly waiting to get their fill of delectable ice cream sandwiches and must-try cones. Although the lineup may eat up your time, everyone who visits guarantees it's well worth the wait.

Sweet Jesus
When Sweet Jesus opened its doors last summer, it set Instagram aglow with it's epic cones. Now the tiny shop connected to La Carnita has a a cult-like following resulting in a lineup all along John St. seven days of the week. Pro tip: the wait is much shorter at its Riverside location.

Arctic Bites
Thai rolled ice cream has landed in Toronto, and people couldn't be more excited. Lines are already wrapping around the corner for polar rolls of coffee, cookies and cream and even Fruit Loops flavours.

Tsujiri
Shocker, another ice cream joint sporting an outrageous line of hungry patrons. Toronto's matcha obsession is in full force as lineups for Tsujiri's soft serve, sundaes and shaved iced grow bigger and bigger outside the shop.

Queen St. Warehouse
If you want to spend your evening chowing down on $4.95 meals and guzzling cheap drinks, you're going to have a wait. This restaurant regularly sports a massive line on Queen Street.

Doomies
People will wait upwards of two hours to devour vegan Big Macs, pulled pork sandwiches and donuts. Luckily you don't have to wait in a physical line just leave your number and they will call when your table is ready.

Panchos Bakery
After the news broke of their churro ice cream cones this Kensginton Market bakeshop is busier then ever. If the day of the launch is any indication of how the rest of summer will be, you're going to want to arrive early to score one of these treats.

Bar Raval
Still one of the city's most buzz-worthy bars, it's no surprise that getting into this pintxo parlour is going to come with a wait. Similar to Doomies you can leave your name and number and they will call you when you can come in.

Adamson Barbecue
Even with limited hours of operation - open only weekdays from 11 a.m. until they sell out - this BBQ joint is always bustling with hungry carnivores. Arrive early if you want a chance to taste the brisket; it usually sells out first.

Seven Lives
Here you'll find Toronto's best tacos, but don't think you can just walk up to the counter and order. This Kensington Market joint usually has a lineup out the door with hungry lunch-goers ready to mow.
