Toronto Fashion Week ended its Spring 2014 season this past Saturday, putting the mounds of hair and makeup products, the delightfully/disturbingly progressive runway collections, and the tendency to dress a notch wilder than usual on ice until Fall 2014 rolls around. In the meantime, we can sit back and reflect on last week's (subjectively) enjoyable/exhausting events.
The runway room presented hoards of models dressed in all white - a trend we'll no doubt see all over the city come the warmer months. Backstage maintained a constant flow of organized chaos at the hands of clipboard-clutching staff and volunteers. The streets saw flocks of showgoers in weather-disregarding - but nevertheless inspirational - garb. Overall, Toronto Fashion Week was, well, everything you'd expect at a week dedicated to fashion.
