15 things to do in Toronto this weekend

Things to do in Toronto this weekend might mean braving the cold and snow to check out huge installations spread out across the Distillery District for the Light Festival. Blue Jays fans are in for two days of fun and there's a whole whack of Design Week events on.

iskwē (January 17 @ Mod Club)
You're not going to want to miss the booming sounds of singer iskwē and her electro power pop rock tunes that make up this immersive live experience.
SPEAK MUSIC Be Kind Festival (January 17-19 @ Tranzac Club)
The new festival is feature local musicians that seeks to spread positivity with proceeds going to support artist programming.
Uncut Gems (January 17-23 @ Paradise)
Although snubbed at the Oscars, this sleeper hit is screening over two nights at the Paradise with Adam Sandler as a self-destructive compulsive gambler.
