The weekend is here and if you're thinking of heading out in the cold, there's lots of things to do in Toronto today that include the Light Festival in the Distillery and DesignTO happening all over the city. You can get a free cream bun and there's a screening of Uncut Gems.

The new festival is feature local musicians that seeks to spread positivity with proceeds going to support artist programming.
Uncut Gems (January 17-23 @ Paradise)
Although snubbed at the Oscars, this sleeper hit is screening over the next few days at the Paradise with Adam Sandler as a self-destructive gambler.
DesignTO (January 17-26 @ Multiple Venues)
Creativity, community and experimentation come together at this huge, city-wide design festival with a week of exhibitions, parties, talks and more.
Toronto Light Festival (January 17 - March 1 @ Distillery District)
The winter nights need not be dark with the return of this big festival that will see bright art and design installations spread throughout the Distillery.
