5 things to do in Toronto today

It might be a snowy day in the city but there's still lots of things to do in Toronto, including the Blue Jays' winter fan festival. Elsewhere, you can check out music and a new Black queer art series. There's also a skating party and a documentary on documentaries.

DJ Skate Nights (January 18 @ Harbourfront Centre)
Shake your booty on the ice with DJ Fawn Big Canoe spinning the hottest house of all forms, disco, funk and everything in between.
Class Of 2020 (January 18 @ Monarch Tavern)
The third and fourth showcase of this festival are on this weekend with buzzworthy artists taking the stage in the hopes of being the next big thing.
Afroqueerism (January 18 @ 120 Diner)
Comedy, painting, film, performances, music and open mic are all part of this new series that showcases different aspects of Black queer art.
Symbiopsychotaxiplasm: Take One (January 18 @ TIFF Bell Lightbox)
Calling all documentary lovers for this film that's gained cult status for its portrayal of documentary filmmaking and the challenges that arise.
Winter Fest (January 18-19 @ Rogers Centre)
Baseball season isn't for awhile but this fan festival is back with a weekend of activities, special guests, live entertainment, tours and more.
