A group of Italians from the Lombardia region of northern Italy took a liking to Toronto and have now opened a new restaurant that features dishes from Valtellina, a valley in the Eastern Alps. There ain't no pizza or red sauce here. Instead, items like pizzoccheri and zigeuner emphasize mountain-made cheeses, house-made buckwheat pasta and humongous wooden skewers of meat.
