• PO Box 1192 is now serving up provolone smoked bacon burgers and chicken and shrimp club sandwiches at 1192 Queen St. East, taking over the address that was until very recently Rock Lobster.
• New dive bar, Wolf LIke Me is now open and selling $6 GLB Beers and $7 cocktails at 834 Bloor St West.
• Siddhartha Indian Cuisine has opened a compact take-out spot at 734 Queen St. East and is serving up kebab wraps, samosa, and mango lassi to go.

OPENING SOON

• The Saucy Pierogi, not to be confused with the Loaded Pierogi (also opening a new location), is opening at 1282 Dundas St. West, formerly Essen.
• Simit & Chai, a tea room and sandwich shop is in the works at 787 King Street West.
• Pizzeria Via Mercanti is aiming to open a fine food shop across the street from its Kensington location this December. The retail outlet at 209 Augusta Ave. is expected to carry pastas and pizza doughs, sauces, cured meats and more.
