Reds Wine Tavern opens its second location

Reds TavernThis new upscale tavern is the first of three SIR Corp concepts to open at the pedestal of the new Aura building at Yonge and Gerrard, just steps from the Ryerson campus. Modelled after the Financial District wine bar of the same name, this new location shares the same menu but boasts an expanded beer program featuring 30 taps.

20 eerie photos of the new David Cronenberg exhibit

David Cronenberg TIFFDavid Cronenberg: Evolution is an all-encompassing retrospective of the Toronto-raised director's prolific career. Having been planned for the last two years by CEO and Director Piers Handling and Artistic Director Noah Cowan, with help from Cronenberg himself, it seems fitting that Evolution is the first major touring exhibition from TIFF.

Over the last 30 years, TIFF has continuously supported Cronenberg's films while he has in turn supported the festival and its transformation into a year round cultural institution. On display are amazing and rare objects, photos, posters, and sketches, all of which let you delve into the unique process that goes into the making of a Cronenberg film.

Check out this photo gallery for 20 highlights from the exhibit .
