• Daily Press Juicery has opened its doors at 200 Queen St. West.
• Marky's BBQ Smokehouse opened this week at 383 Jane St. and is already serving up slow smoked chicken and ribs.
• Scoop Shop, a new ice cream parlour from Sweet Sammies Ice Cream Sandwich Co., opens tomorrow, Friday, May 8 at 808 Dundas St. West.

• Old School, the new 24/7 BBQ joint from Brad Moore (ex-School) opens late next week at 800 Dundas St. West
• Apiecalypse Now! Vegan Bakery is re-opening as an all vegan pizza shop and snack bar at 735 Bloor St. West, formerly La Burrita. The new place officially opens at the end of May and will eventually house a vegan sandwich start-up called Grains Grains Grains that will launch monthly sandwich specials.
• De La Mer Fresh Fish Market is set to open its third location on May 23 at 189 Danforth Ave.
