THIS WEEK
- Brewer's Backyard Torontoberfest is on this Monday, October 12 from noon to 5pm at the Evergreen Brickworks (550 Bayview Ave.). WVRST and the Midnight Snack Co. will be providing the sausages, while Beau's, Junction, Granite, Black Oak, Amsterdam, Big Rig and Rainhard will be serving up brews. Admission is free.
- Bun Month is on now at Daisho (190 University Ave.) during lunch and brunch throughout October. As the first week wraps up we say goodbye to Matty Matheson's beef tongue with jalapeno whiz bao, and bonjour to chef of Le Select Bistro, Albert Ponzo's choucroute bun - available for a week starting Monday, October 12.
- Love Food Fest brings together over a dozen Toronto chefs and 8 beer and wine purveyors on Thursday, October 15 at 99 Sudbury for an all you can eat evening in support Action Against Hunger. Tickets are $125.

- O&B presents An Evening with Donna Hay on Tuesday, October 22 at Luma (350 King St. West). Celebrate the launch of the The New Easy with cookbook author and stylist, Donna Hay with a cocktail reception and Q&A with Donna followed by three-course dinner with wine led by chefs Anthony Walsh and Michael Wilson. Tickets are $117.50.
- UFeast presents "Wet" Your Appetite with Fidel Gastro's Matt Basile on Monday, November 9 at a secret location in the Stockyards. Tickets are $85 for a family style menu inspired by Manila wet markets. Look forward to dishes including curry mussels, sambal prawns, smoked Adobo chicken wings and Lechon lettuce wraps.
