5 free things to do in Toronto this week

Free events in Toronto this week just might wake you from your winter slumber to enjoy some savings. The MOCA is set to open for free this week and Winter Stations returns to The Beaches. There's an Oscars viewing party, music and art on as well—all for free.

Events you might want to check out:

Winter Stations (February 18 - April 1 @ Woodbine Beach)
Back again are these larger-than-life installations along the Beaches waterfront with a forest of butterflies, staircase to nowhere and a Mind Station.
Korea Town Acid (February 21 @ Handlebar)
It's PWYC to catch the talented, up-and-coming DJ Korea Town Acid perform alongside Pursuit Grooves, WeTurnToRed and Spookyfish.
Art At The X (February 22 - April 27 @ Hotel X Toronto)
A free night of art, music, fashion and culture is on high atop the skyline as Hotel X launches its new weekly art gala series one Friday of the month.
Community Sundays (February 24 @ MOCA)
The newly-relocated MOCA is opening its doors to the public one day a month totally free of charge, and includes all its ongoing exhibitions.
The Oscars Live (February 24 @ Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema)
Catch all the glitz and glamour live on the big screen as the Hot Docs cinema hosts its annual Oscars viewing party inside the theatre for free.
