New vegan bakery and cafe takes root in Bloorcourt

In a former Ethiopian restaurant near Bloor and Ossington, a couple of veteran vegan bakers are dishing out a daily selection of muffins, bagels, and cookies - all made without dairy, and many made without gluten. (Trust me, though - you won't miss the butter or wheat.) If you have a hunger that won't be sated by butterless butter tarts, though, you're in luck - they're hoping to launch a full vegan menu in the coming weeks.
