Free events in Toronto this week let you come down from Nuit Blanche with events where you get to sit down, or at least lean on something stable - feminist film screenings, raunchy cult films, anime nights, book launches, art shows, Gilmore Girls trivia... you know, nice, safe things where there's no threat of rain (but the risk of banter may be high). If you're not tired, there are the usual concerts and dance parties, though you might need to show up early. And leave early, since you're taking TTC.
Here's what's free in Toronto this week besides streaming Umberto D and crying at the dog bits.
