Toronto's Iranian community has been coming to this bakery for years to stock up on exquisitely-made Persian cookies and baklava along with French-style pastries and cakes. What began as a wildly successful pastry house in pre-Islamic Revolution Tehran - where Persian royalty used to place special orders for sweet treats - has continued to flourish and evolve in its Canadian home.
