  • The same people behind some of Toronto's most popular eateries (Khao San Road and Paris Paris, for example) have opened a 70s-inspired restaurant called Favorites Thai BBQ on Ossington.
  • Sam James Coffee has made a return to Lower Ossington with a new spot in the same space as Favorites.
  • Queens Quay has a new restaurant for South Indian food called My Dosa Place.
  • The same team behind Brooklynn and Nightowl have just opened a B&B-meets-vegan snack bar in Leslieville called Hotel Delilah.
  • Bamburgh Circle now has a Japanese fish market to buy sushi trays and poke bowls with Oo-Kinza.
  • Veggie Crush is serving ice cream and healthy juices from a tiny new store by Queen and Spadina. 
  • Celeb chef Lynn Crawford has opened Hearth Market Kitchen in Pearson Airport.
