Today in Toronto: 8th Canadian Film Fest, Tupperware Remix Party x Daft Punk, Somewhere There Jamboree

Today in Toronto the 8th Canadian Film Fest will begin a three night run at the Royal showing Canadian-made features short films. Music-wise, Toronto's in the midst of a cover-band craze-phase and costumed Tupper Ware Remix Party's weird tribute to Daft Punk should offer a good time to down some mildly overpriced drinks (Drake Hotel styles) and bump with cuties. This isn't a week to be ultra serious or we'd end up in hospital, right? But if you're into serious sounds, Somewhere There's Jamboree is for you.
