Is this Leslieville gas station selling watered down fuel?

Neon Gas Station TorontoThere's drama brewing in Leslieville over what some drivers claim is watered down gas being sold at the Neon Station. According to an investigative report from Global News, numerous customers have reported engine difficulty after filling up at Neon, which is located at Queen and Curzon streets. Sputtering engines and costly repair bills have raised the ire of the drivers who allege that Neon's fuel has damaged their vehicles.

Global makes a fairly compelling case that something's not right at the station, but a water detection test undertaken in the wake of customer complaints came up negative. The Technical Standards and Safety Authority did, however, order the the station replace part of its fuel system after the inspection. In the absence of concrete evidence of water in the tanks, it remains a he said-she said scenario, but caveat emptor.
