Today in Toronto Tanya Tagaq and Buffy Sainte-Marie are performing for free at David Pecaut Square thanks to Luminato. Contemporary Yellowknife throat singer Tagaq is totally mind blowing live - her amazing voice runs from guttural growls to sensual R&B hooks emphasized by high pitched notes and, eventually, bone chilling screams. I can't stress enough that you should not miss this show. The Gladstone Hotel is hosting a Toronto themed trivia competition, and Luminato is hosting a secret, fantasy "train ride" to "drinks, delicious eats and music" - if you've got the cash ($225).
