We have an immediate opening for a Listings Editor to join our team in a full time capacity. Read on for more information about this role and how to apply.

THE ROLE

As a Listings Editor you'll spend your days scoping out new businesses and writing profiles of restaurants and bars and other types of food and retail stores. You'll be as comfortable writing about the newest pho joint as you are about cocktail bars, cafes, hair salons, furniture and clothing shops.

You'll also need to write the occasional list post and help round-out our neighbourhood directories.

The successful applicant with not only have the requisite knowledge and writing skills but also demonstrate ability to create engaging content on Instagram and Snapchat. Photo and video capabilities are also a definite plus.

• Detail your social media (Instagram, Snapchat) prowess.
• Visit a local business (restaurant, bar, clothing shop etc.) and send us a written profile (400-500 words) to give us an idea of what your contributions to the site will be like. Please include related social media (Instagram, Snapchat), photos and/or videos if you wish to demonstrate these capabilities.
• Detail your technology prowess including what type of computer and O/S you use, your current smartphone model, photography, video and photo editing capabilities.
• Specify your minimum compensation requirements (monthly salary.)

Note: The role will require you to eat and drink all types of food including meat, seafood, pork, spicy food, vegan, gluten, beer, wine, cocktails etc.
