Brazilian restaurants in Toronto will have you sampling some of the best south of the border eats our city has to offer. With menus offering everything from Picanha (roast cut beef) to grilled pineapple, you're sure to get your fill of flavourful food.
Here, in no particular order, are my picks for the top Brazilian restaurants in Toronto.
Rio 40
If you're with a party of indecisive eaters who crave more than just Brazilian fare, try Rio 40. They have all the necessary Brazilian eats including marinated rump roast and tiger shrimp stew, as well as a number of Corso Italia inspired options like Margherita pizza.
Mata Petisco
This Parkdale spot serves up drool-inducing eats like feijoada, pichana steak and eggs, and grilled octopus. They also have a small selection of vegetarian-friendly options like quinoa risotto, for those who steer clear of meat. If you like your eats on-the-go, try to catch their Made in Brasil food truck.
Sabor Brasil
The most casual (and cheapest) option on this list, this Corso Italia neighbourhood stalwart boasts a menu chock full of authentic bites like file de peixe, bisteca de porco, as well as a few pasta options.
Copacabana
Copacabana has multiple locations including one in the Club District serving AYCE Brazilian fare for brunch and dinner. Go here if you're dining pick a pack of hungry carnivores but If you want to add a little something extra, their wine list is almost as extensive as their food offerings.
Touro Churrascaria
Another AYCE option - this one in Richmond Hill. On the menu you'll find flank steak, leg of lamb, and almost every other meat, as well as a number of traditional cocktails. Vegetarians probably want to steer clear.
