THIS WEEK
- The 14th annual Night it Up! returns to the Markham Civic Centre (101 Town Centre Blvd.) this weekend from July 24 to 26. Modeled after night markets in Taiwan and Hong Kong, the event promises unique Asian street foods, food trucks, game booths, merchandise vendors and live performances.
- Pig and a Poke pops up on Sunday, July 26 at Tequila Bookworm (512 Queen St. West) for a Tropical evening of tiki cocktails and Hawaiian food starting at 6 p.m.
- Gluten Freedom Toronto presents a gluten-free Southern Cookout with Baju BBQ at The Monarch (12 Clinton St.) from 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29. Tickets are $51.45.
UPCOMING
- The third annual Pan American Food Festival is on from July 30 to August 3 at Daniels Spectrum (585 Dundas St. East). The festivities will include fun food competitions, food demonstrations by international chefs, kids' activities, Latin dance workshops, and a vendors market.
- Tickets are on sale now for the next instalment of the U-Feast Chef Concert Series dubbed Garçon! An Evening of Refined French Cuisine. Happening on Monday, August 3 from 7 p.m. at Beast Restaurant (96 Tecumseth St.) the collaborative five course dinner from chefs Scott Vivian, Ned Elliott (Foreign & Domestic, Austin, TX), and Matthew Gaudet (West Bridge, Cambridge, MA) is priced at $115 including drinks.
- Estrella Damm is bringing Barcelona to Toronto with the #TapasJourney taking place between August 14 to 23. Over the ten days, find 20 Toronto restaurants offering three tapas with an Estrella Damm beer for $20. The cast of participating restaurants includes Marben, The Good Son, Carmen, Mamakas Taverna, and many more.
