Toronto Restaurant Openings: Hello 123, Aloette, Dear Fro, Gold Standard

Toronto restaurant openings highlights the latest food news in Toronto and gives a preview of what's coming soon. Find us here every Thursday morning. Open now Aloette, the à-la-carte bistro sibling to chef Patrick Kriss's Alo, has opened at 163 Spadina Ave. Hello 123, a full-service vegan restaurant from the team behind Kupfert & Kim, is now open at 1122 Queen St. W. (at Lisgar). Gold Standard, a takeout-window collaboration between Reunion Island and The Federal, is now serving breakfast sandwiches (for which the place is named after) and Detroit-style burgers from 9am to 3pm on Neepawa Ave., right behind Reunion Island's cafe at 385 Roncesvalles Ave. Amsterdam Barrel House, Amsterdam Brewery's third brewpub, has debuted at 87 Laird Dr. in Leaside. Banh Mi Boys now has a fourth location, this time at 95 The Pond Rd. on York University's campus. Jules Bistro's third location has opened in Leslieville at 1290 Queen St. E., which was formerly Edward Levesque's. Beach Hill Smokehouse, touting "authentic Texas BBQ," is now open at 172 South Main St. (at Gerrard St. E.). The Yellow Chilli by chef Sanjeev Kapoor, one of the largest Indian restaurant chains worldwide, is now open at 55 Eglinton Ave. E. (by Yonge). Dear Fro, a Korean dessert spot featuring bingsu, opened on Tuesday at 3300 Midland Ave., Unit 39 in Scarborough, and will be giving away 50 free bingsu daily on October 21 & 22 to celebrate. Fresh fish market De La Mer's fourth location just opened yesterday at 728 St. Clair St. W. just west of Christie St. Recently reviewed Less Bar BlueBlood Steakhouse Muddy York Brewing Co. Kiss the Tiramisu Butter Baker Palm Lane Opening soon Lahuna Poke, which had a stall at last year's Union Station Summer Market, will be opening a permanent location soon in the PATH at Brookfield Place. Chez's Restaurant, a European bistro that replaces Abbiocco (and Frank's Kitchen prior to that) opens at 588 College St. in Little Italy this Saturday. Woodfire Sandwich Co. will be opening soon right beside Woody's Burgers in Etobicoke's Long Branch. Closed Ashdale Brunch and Espresso in Leslieville has shuttered. So has Curry Kitchen in Bloordale.
