David Byrne's Contemporary Color dazzles Toronto

Luminato's second major act (after the Unsound Festival at the Hearn), played out in the form of Contemporary Color at the ACC this week. A combination of colour guards performing to live music created specifically for them - an idea conceived by David Byrne - it was a spectacle rarely seen in Canada. The colour guards have a deep history in the US, and after this performance, don't be surprised if you see more flags spinning north of the border.
