Today in Toronto St. Vincent will perform in Toronto first the first time since last summer, and she'll be back at the Danforth Music Hall tomorrow night too. Cinema Politica will present the Toronto premiere of Born in Gaza, a documentary that follows the lives of ten children scarred by violent conflict. At Daniel's Spectrum, the Feminist Art Conference (FAC) begins its a month-long exhibit of feminist art for International Women's Day.
A memorial for murdered Toronto transwoman Sumaya Dalmar will begin at 6pm at At 519 Church. Then the Yes Yes Y'all DJs will host a gathering later tonight at Buddies in Bad Times. If you can't make it, there's a memorial fund online. For more events, click on over to our events section.
