k.d. lang (August 30 @ Sony Centre for the Performing Arts)
k.d. lang has won four Grammy awards, eight Juno Awards, a BRIT, an AMA, a VMA, and four awards from GLAAD. She's touring her classic album Ingenue, which turns 25 this year.
Bride of Chucky (August 30 @ The Royal Cinema - Toronto)
This is a full night celebrating this horror classic with a drag pre-show at 7:30 p.m., the movie at 8 p.m., and a panel discussion about 'Diva Worship' following the movie at 9:30.

CNE 2017 (August 18 - September 4 @ Canadian National Exhibition)
Today at the Ex there's also a laser show, sand sculptures, and a Michael Hunter demo at the Home pavilion. It's open until midnight so no need to rush, take your time snacking, riding and gaming.
