This is what's replacing the iconic O'Connor Bowl

East York landmark O'Connor Bowl shuttered earlier this year after nearly 65 years in business to make way for a new condo aptly called The Lanes. Yes, the project plays off a bowling motif, most notably in its 1960s-style logo.

Along with its retro advertising (by Diezel), the condo includes amenities like the Strike Club party room, the Skydeck rooftop lounge and the Skyview Fitness Centre.

The project by the Edzar Group of Companies - and designed by Turner Fleischer Architects - will have a total of 142 suites. Units will start in the $200s.
