• Yonge Street Warehouse is now open at 336 Yonge St. (by Gould St.), and just like its sibs (El Furniture Warehouse, Queen Street Warehouse, The Dime), all the food is priced at $5.95 (perfect for Ryerson students).
• Big Trouble Pizza has opened at 235 Spadina Ave.
• Chinese chain The Dessert Kitchen has soft opened at 73 Harbord St. (just west of Spadina). 
• Coffee shop The Daily Grind is now open at 426 St. Clarens  Ave. (just south of Bloor) in Bloordale.
• Chaplus bubble tea recently opened its third location, this one at Centerpoint Mall in North York (its other two locations can be found at 3 Elm St. downtown and Commerce Gate in Thornhill).
• Halal takeout joint Pizza Shab has opened two new locations: 113 Bond St. by Ryerson and 10133 Yonge St. in Richmond Hill.
• Smoke’s Poutinerie has opened its first "mobile food-truck-style eatery" at Toronto Pearson International Airport's Terminal 3 in the Arrivals area. The official grand opening is tomorrow.
• Cacao 70 is opening an eatery and a dip shop together for the first time at Scarborough Town Centre, and another location at 100 York Blvd. in Richmond Hill is in soft opening as well.
• Italian restaurant Il Fresco is now open at 3081 Kingston Rd. in Scarborough.

• Slanted Door, Coffee & Art looks to be opening in March at 442 Bloor St. W. in the former Boil Bar space in The Annex.
• Rustle & Still, a modern Vietnamese cafe, looks to be opening very soon in what was previously Sky Blue Sky (RIP) at 605 Bloor St. W. in Koreatown.
• Something called Pho Pas (assuming it's going to serve Vietnamese noodle soup) has applied for a liquor licence at 480-482 Parliament St. in Cabbagetown.

• Anchan Thai Kitchen has shuttered on King St. W.
