5 free things to do in Toronto this week

Free events in Toronto this week will have your mouth watering for some butter chicken and naan bread. Elsewhere, parts of both Yonge and Bloor are going car-free for Open Streets and there's a huge celebration happening in Chinatown.

Wajib (August 16 @ Christie Pits Park)
The Toronto Palestine Film Festival is ready to put on their annual free outdoor film screening, this time featuring Wajib, plus food, music and food.
Free Butter Chicken (August 16 @ Matagali)
Matagali is ready to launch a new tasting menu and is set to give away free house-made butter chicken, naan and prizes for one day only.
Rastafest (August 17 @ Black Creek Pioneer Village)
Reggae music and lots of it are at the heart of this annual festival that showcases musicians from all over, plus activities, food, drinks and shopping.
